Mara buys stuff

Went to the Sugarloaf Mountain craft fair yesterday at the county fairgrounds. We had a nice time and I bought two small pictures for Barak's room. They're from this great artist. They're from the "On a Wim" collection, although he doesn't have either of the ones I bought pictured. (You have to click on them individually to see the titles, which is half of what makes them great.)

One is a group of clown fish and the one in the center is being hit with a pie, and it says "Clown." The other is a group of tadpoles surrounding an older tadpole, who's grinning, and it says "Dream big." I almost bought one of the pieces from the top row, which are titled "Bad sushi." Heh. And Avi almost bought one of two frogs, one saying "How do you cope?" and the other replies "I eat what bugs me."

Then I came home and did some laundry and some Suddenly Sprockets! work. Then I got my usual few hours of sleep punctuated by one of the children waking up crying. I have such a headache. Argl.

Today we must buy the Thanksgiving turkey and a few items that might be difficult to find the day before Thanksgiving (like sage and rosemary) and make our plan for what we're making. There's also a lot more laundry. A lot. A whole lot. Whee.

holiday, barak
