Work to be done (which I'm obviously not doing)
So today was my long day of Yael in school. Naturally, a ton of work arrived afterward. ::eyeroll:: Well, it'll all get done somehow, I suppose.
In other news, I've posted four ficlets of varying sizes for fandom_stocking. Two are for people I know and two are for people I don't know. I've got one more that's nearly done, which is for someone I know :D After my work is done, I'll try and write more, since I've got until January. I know I'm not the only person who'd be incredibly thrilled by some presents over there ::hints broadly::
Hey, didja hear the one about the live action Avatar movie where all the actors cast so far are white? Ha ha! Very funny joke! And it's not even April Fool's Day yet! Now really...somebody tell me about the Asian/Native American actors that they'll be casting. (Hat tip to sabra_n.)
Yael and I went to the mall this afternoon so I could return a maternity dress and she played adorably in the play area for quite a while. Then I made an awful mistake: I went into Sears to try and buy her some new underwear in the next size up, since she's getting close to it. Why is this a mistake? Because the abominable selection of girl's underwear I remember from last time was even more restricted this time. Her choices were Dora, a Disney Princess, another Disney Princess, another Disney Princess, and Elmo. Yael wanted Elmo (but she didn't like the girl's design, just the boy's design) and she really really wanted Diego, not Dora.
Has anybody bought boy's underwear for their girl? Does it fit at all? Because I have no problem buying it for her if it'll fit, but I don't want to waste money.
