Somewhat productive morning, as I dropped Yael off at school, then managed to run three errands in stores right next to each other: bought Maalox and Zantac in CVS, iron-on hemming stuff at G Street Fabrics, and two bags of art/craft things for various birthdays coming up at AC Moore. As usual, Melissa & Doug saved my life, as I found they now make a bunch of small adorable kits like "decorate a piggy bank" and "decorate a heart box" that are inexpensive, and they were even on sale right now. I bought a half dozen of them, because they'll be useful for various children, including my own :D
I tried to call my doctor's office to find out why the nurse called me, but they're having phone problems. And the nurse failed to write anything in my handy electronic health record, so the other office can't help me. (Dude! That's why you *have* an EHR system!) So I'll just sit and wait to find out what's up. Because I'm sooooo good at waiting patiently. ::coughs::
But while I was on the phone getting frustrated, I got an e-mail from GIVF that they're finally getting around to sending us our refund, since the insurance paid them some time ago. This is good, because it is a big chunk of money. Hooray for having cash with which to pay our property taxes!
Meanwhile I'm switching between writing my House review and doing some cleaning. Maybe I'll try ironing a hem now. I'm so glad today is Yael's long day at school, so I can get some things done. ::goes back to being productive-ish::
ETA: Wait! Everybody must drop everything and go watch
Brokeback Dreidel right now. Awesome! Thanks to
