I have the first season of Eureka torrenting right now, just because you make it sound like so much fun.

I really think you'll like it. I've been wanting to write a "Why I Love Eureka" post for a while, because...great characters, great writing, great women, fun plots, hilarious science, and then sometimes it punches you in the gut...it's like a giant love letter to SF fandom!

I mean, the science is occasionally eye-rollingly bad and the show isn't perfect by any means, but it comes a lot closer than most TV does.
