Howl and stuff
We watched Howl's Moving Castle last night. I love the book, but I knew the movie was very different, so that didn't bother me. However, the movie left me bored. ::shrug:: It was...there. I liked Calcifer a lot and I thought the voice choices were very good, but the only reason I cared at all about the characters was because I knew them from the book.
I gave it a chance, really I did. I tried to like it. I wanted to like it. But no dice.
Saturday, we baked hamantaschen and then Yael and I ventured downtown to see smittywing, which was awesome. And now I have a Yael Naim album, whee! Yesterday, the Purim carnival indeed proved to be both fun and headache inducing.
In other news, I'm finally getting going on my Remix fic. Hooray! I'm also working on a Top Sekrit project, which won't be unveiled for a few weeks. Aaaand, I just got some work to do, so I'd best go do it while Yael is watching Sesame Street.
