Remix Redux reveal
And now that it's past noon, Eastern time, I can reveal that I wrote Pillar of Salt (The Protocol 259 Remix) for the Remix Redux challenge. Thanks very much to mtgat for the beta and reassurance!
It truly was a challenge to remix the excellent nos4a2no9. I dithered a lot between trying to remix one of her DC fics (which I ended up doing) and trying one of her several Firefly fics. I almost did the latter, but the idea I had wasn't as interesting as this one.
I'm still waiting to find out what brave soul remixed Change is the Only Constant. I'm happy to see that so many folks left great feedback for the remixer, though, because the remixer deserved it! If you haven't read Change is the Only Constant (The Seasons of Change Remix), I urge you to do so. If you liked the original story (and I hope you did ::grin::), you'll love this look at things from the Gotham side.
