More space pirates
So, 2,000 words of psychic bond Gokaiger fic later...
Does it count as a fandom cliche if it's canon? Their psychic bond isn't actually mentioned, but they are constantly doing things without actually having spoken to each other. Like, in one of the movies they are divided into three groups who are not even in the same room with each other and when Marvelous figures out the escape plan, they all suddenly pull their weapons and shoot a circle in the floor to escape. He didn't exactly pause to call them on the cells, ya know.
The story needs another, mmm, 500-1,000 words, I think. Also I need to rewatch a few bits of two episodes to make sure I'm actually getting things in the right order.
In less fun news, my CPAP machine arrived today and I'm currently doing anything to procrastinate from actually walking into the bedroom and putting it on. Whee.
If I can just get used to it, I'm sure it will help. ::nervous laughter:: If only there weren't the little matter of my claustrophobia. FML.
Okay, I need to go to bed now. Despite having a long block of time while the kids were in camp this week, I managed to get remarkably little done, due to doctor's appointments (I love UTIs, oh yes I do) and driving my in-laws home from a doctor's appointment and the 45-minute lecture from the guy who delivered the CPAP and the amazingly bad traffic and...
(Speaking of which: People of the DC metro area! It's fucking July. You're supposed to go on vacation and leave the roads for the rest of us poor schlubs. Get out of my way!)
