Shooting at the Columbia Mall :(
I just love when the "breaking news" banner on cnn.com is about a shooter at the mall in my hometown. Oh, and did I mention that my parents still live there? And MsC's parents. And Morgan's parents. And there's my sister's best friend with the baby and Moria and Kat and it's not that far from Bob and...
As far as I can tell, everyone has checked in on FB as alive and well and my parents just called while I was typing this, so they're okay.
News outlets are currently reporting three dead but it's only been an hour and a half since they got the first call.
Damn damn damn. And I've just deleted a rant about gun control, since who knows what the circumstances of this shooting are. However, I reserve the right to rant at a later date when I have more data.
I need to stop endlessly refreshing WTOP.com and eat some lunch.
