Biggest storm DC has had in a few years, schools are closed, fed. gov't is closed...so what does Avi do? He goes to work for a few hours, comes home, and goes to pick up his mother and take her to Costco.

Because clearly that's what he needs to do as the roads get slippery and dangerous. ::facepalm::

It's our usual genetic shortcoming from having less DNA than women. That being said, there's more snow up here than down there, and I drove in it, and lived to tell the tale! I may even drive in it tomorrow as well! Granted, my reason for being out in the snow is better than Avi's...

Yeah, it's not so much the driving that bothered me as the reason. We weren't lacking in food at all!
