I'm all verklempt
Two good pieces of news today. Ariel went out today with just his new legs...no walker, crutches, whatever. He rode the subway and went to the doctor all by himself. This is AWESOME. He's exhausted, of course, but very proud. As he should be :)
The other news is two people who lost their spouses and now they're marrying each other. ::heart:: They're two lovely people who I didn't know knew each other! Both lost their spouses to nasty illnesses and they deserve some happiness. I hope very much that they find it with each other.
Verklempt, I tell you. Overcome with happiness. I'm a bit teary, but for once it's for good reasons.
Sometimes, if you're really paying attention, the universe doesn't suck.
