Fangirl gathering still on, more or less
To make my life significantly easier, I'm afraid I've abandoned my original plan of meeting downtown to see The Avengers on Sunday, May 6. However, if folks are willing to shlep up to Gaithersburg, the movie will be playing at the Rio (just off 270, right about where it hits 370).
I'd really prefer to see the movie in boring ol' 2D, so there's a 1:35 pm and 5 pm show. We could do the first, then bum around before eating at one of the Rio's eight bazillion (give or take bazillion) restaurants for an early dinner, or do the second and maybe eat a later dinner. Can anyone come? Does anyone have a preference?
If folks coming from down south prefer, they're welcome to come to my house and I'll drive everybody the rest of the way.
I'm probably going to buy tickets in advance, so I *must* know soon if you can come.
