This was lovely. I especially liked the description of the light and how Ben would always see Coruscant differently than Luke had. I also liked Mara's description near the end, of music and peace.

Loved it! Such a beautiful scene of survival of love and peace and past after a severe change. And the way they touch each other and the sunlight is so warm and sensual.

Half the time I don't even know where to start a comment about your work. Your way with words is beyond my ability to even commend, let alone replicate, and you only seem to keep getting better. Even in a quiet, calm vignette like this, you capture so many details that I'd never have thought of and make them as natural as breathing until the story has countless shimmering layers. I really can't tell you how much I admire that - just one example being how the very light on Coruscant is different now. That would never have occurred to me, but it instantly conjures up such a mental image. When I do write, rare though that is these days, I aspire to achieve half of what you do ( ... )
