Oh, this is wonderful. It's the sort of story you can just sort of fall into, because the atmosphere, the tone, are so slow and rich and layered. I love the connections built in here, the degrees of complexity: Luke and Mara, their relationship to one another, to the Force - even within the Force, because it seems to wind through the narrative. The cautious blurring of boundaries between them, the past they share and the pasts they don't share... it's beautifully done. :D Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed reading this. It was like savoring a nice, warm cup of tea - you wanted to take it slow, and kept getting nuances of flavor as you go along. And marriage is always an interesting journey, as the parties try to figure one another out, and how this new space between them fits best. But with these two? Yeah - there are whole other layers, and I think you tapped into some of that. Thanks!

Thank you! I suppose what I like about their relationship is that it's so subtle and complex, so based on compromise; and I'm so pleased I managed to capture some of that.
