Went to see a Lipizzaner show yesterday, so while I imagine most people aren't too interested in dancing white horses, I figured I'd share for the ones who are. ;D
The show was the "World Famous Lipizzaners" from White Stallion Productions, no relation to the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Austria. This is my 3rd or 4th (haha, I'm forgetting one, I think...) time seeing performing Lipizzans... and the first one I've been able to take digital pics for. Not that many of them turned out very well, it being dark and the horses being um, very mobile ;D Ah well.
I think gray with steel mane and tail is quite possibly my favorite horse color. XD
The next few pics were dressage demonstrations...
Maybe an extended trot?
Marching in place XD
The stance looks sort of trotty but I'm guessing this was something at a canter.
A fuzzily captured unmounted levade XD
The beautiful Andalusian who had his own segment of the show.
I was also a dork, and posted the videos I took of the capriole movements (way too fast to photograph) on youTube for ease of sharing.
