Abrupt, abrasive, insensitive, arrogant, embittered, crusty, cantankerous, curmudgeonly, mule-headed, confrontational, critical, cold-hearted, unsympathetic, obnoxious, emotionless - those are words that describe Gregory House on a good day. Despite his faults - and there are many, not the least of which are this miserable bastard’s addiction to Vicodin and his penchant for hookers - House is one of the most brilliant surgeons ever. He’s diagnosed many bizarre diseases and saved many lives. That is perhaps his only redeeming value, earning him the grudging respect of his colleagues and the entire medical community, not to mention making him numero uno on this list.
