Over the last few days I've watched with sadness as my most favorite places in the state of Airzona is being consumed by a devastating wildfire. The Brins Fire, believed to have started by an untended vagrant fire, has been burning through Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon/Slide Rock with a vengeance. The news just announced that over 2500 acres have burned. It's such a beautiful place and it makes me sad. We have often taken visitors to our state there because it's just breathtaking. The red rocks of Sedona and the beauty of Oak Creek Canyon. The fire is only 5% contained. I just hope the weather starts to help rather than hinder as it's done.
