Imperial Services Organization Cigarette Gal
So those of you who are familiar with my costuming habits also know that I'm very involved with the 501st. At Celebration IV, the Dune Sea Garrison, my garrison alma matter, debuted the ISO or Imperial Services Organization to mirror the USO (sort of!).
This last January at Phoenix Cactus Comic Con I decided to donn my own ISO uniform and was cajoled into being a sort of "cigarette" gal where I went around with a box full of DSG swag to sell to members and honorary members for charity (see avatar).
Well I commissioned a piece of art from artist Tom Hodges

well I have some issues with it that I thought I could live with but the more time that passes the more I think I can't live with them so I've taken the image down and will be trying my best to compose a diplomatic email that covers my issues with the artwork. *SIGH* I feel like I'm being a prick about it, but Klaus was quick to point out that I will have paid money for a piece of art that I don't like and that does nothing to credit the artist behind it. So I will be attempting to write something...don't know what. *SIGH*
