Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays everyone! Hope those of you who already celebrated had a wonderful time with family and friends and wishing the best too for those about to like me!
Hi! Sorry this is so late. I've been feeling under the weather even though I went out after X-mas shopping yesterday. Yeah, go figure!
Anyway, I had a great Christmas too, such fun with family. I'm glad you did also.
I really loved the season 4 finale. I even watched it for the second time with my niece who is nuts over Merlin now, lol! I was so happy thoser spoilers I read were completely off based.
I loved how Arthur was strong in this one and Merlin...oh my gosh, it was his episode so much of the time. When he faced off with Agravaine and showed remorse as he also showed his strength, wow.
Percival is my knight of the year, oh my gosh Percy!!!!
Morgana and Arthur facing each other, oh wow.
Gwen was so strong, maybe didn't get enough time, but as usual any scene with her and Arthur, it doesn't matter the amount of time, they make it work beautifully. I loved Arthur's conflicted emotions. He was dealing with his own insecurities so it was perfect. And of course the coronation at the end, so romantic like a wedding, beautiful.
The ending was indeed a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what happens. They left it that a season 6 in my book is definitely a possibility in my book.
Isolde, I love her, will miss her. Tristan I didn't identify with as much, but oh Isolde was just so wonderful. When she died, all the pain on everyone's faces, oh. You knew that was when Arthur realized, as he saw Gwen that he needed her. It didn't matter what happened in the past. He just wanted the woman he loved back. Any issues they'd get through together.
And of course the sword in the stone, that iconic moment we'd all been waiting for, was just beautifully shot. I wasn't sure of Merlin helping him pull it out, but I agree with the comments on C_L that it wasn't really about that anyways. It was about him having the courage to fight and believing he was the rightful king.
LOL moments, that image of all the red cloaked knights running to Camelot, one knight after another, lol, bright red cloaks, that was too funny. Percy throwing that guy like he was a doll or something, lol. Percy, oh I love him so much! Leon in slow mo. looking like he's out of mind as he ran up the castle steps, that was funny without it probably meaning to be. And Arthur, Gwen, Isolde, Tristan and Merlin, yelling out 'for the love of Camelot' in total disarray, ha ha, it was so disjointed it was hillarious without meaning to be. That's why I love this show, never perfect, but has the most amazing moments. It's just so great and I can't wait for season 5!
I read what you posted on C_L. You really enjoyed it too, right? :)
