Posting to say I'm watching a Hallmark movie right now (yes I'm kind of sometimes addicted to Hallmark channel movies even with the schmaltzy music) and Katie's in it!  She's family of a duke, lol!  Roger Moore!  The best part, she smiles a lot!  I miss her smile on Merlin.  NO evil grins!!

Oh and on the topic of Merlin, I enjoyed today's very much

Katie was so great in this movie and I enjoyed it a lot!

The ep:

I want more Elyan. The actor is really good when he's given a storyline and there is so much about Elyan that I like seeing.

Even without Gwen her presence was strongly felt with the references to her and Arthur's mood.

I wish Arthur thought Gwen was enchanted like he thought Elyan was, and wish Merlin figured out she was. But anyway, I liked how Arthur was almost caring of Elyan, reluctant to hurt him.

The ending scene with Arthur shocked me because I thought for sure it was Uther who caused the place to be so haunted. But it was Arthur. Watching him so emotionally ask to be forgiven, and tell about why he attacked, was an amazing scene. It was one of Bradley's best. And Elyan, he totally resembled a mistreated Druid.

Arthur's pledge to respect the Druids I think is big. It could help him accept magic more in the end because I think he's getting to that point.

Next Week: I love Gwen's color of dress, lol! It's just kind of funky, and I guess she's working for someone awful. Helios? I don't get the scene with Merlin. When does he see her? The visiting princess is a bit annoying and kind of a waste of time that could be used for more Gwen scenes or whatever, but okay. Uh, Arthur's hunting and he hits Gwen? Is that what's possibly going to happen? Merlin's getting like "Once Upon a Time" lol! It looks good. I'm excited for it all.

I accidentally stumbled upon major spoilers, which have been declared bogus, so I'm kind of spoiled now, lol. But actually if the spoilers are totally untrue, I'm fine with that. I've read the ep descriptions though and based on them, there might be some truth. Guess time will tell.

For now I'm working on a lot of fic, finishing off yours so I'll be posting quite soon and getting the first parts of my reverse bb done for Piper to beta.

I think the reason that hey didn't is because they are aware that Gwen had feelings in the past for Lancelot. For Arthur I think the insecurities came into play for him. Merlin, on the other hand, should have noticed though because he knew that Lancelot was a shade.

Yes, Bradley was wonderful in that final scene and I do think this is a set up to Arthur slowly coming around to the idea of magic.

I haven't read those spoilers I think you are talking about. I think they are untrue as the producer on her twitter said they were false. So don't tell me anything.

Sophie and some others have some theories that Morgana must put a spell on Gwen so Arthur thinks he's hunting and killing a dear but its actually Gwen because the episode is called The Hunter's Heart and Sophie thinks there is a connection with 'heart' and 'hart'

I think that Gwen must be running and finds Merlin and maybe warns him of the plans Helios and Morgana have.

Yay can't wait to read it bb! That reminds me I have to actually donate the money. Oops haven't done it yet.

I've done some yesterday and I know sort of the bits I need to do but not sure about how to end it and how to thread together some of the scenes. It's complicated.

Yes, the feelings for Lancelot were a big issue and have always been, even if they both tried to put it in the background. It's a matter of distrust there and now that she admitted she loved Arthur etc, I think it was finally put to rest, at least mostly. I have to say, I do love mostly how the show has handled this. I hate triangles, but this was one, when it was normal Lancelot, I enjoyed watching. I like how it kept Guinevere someone who is really good, just was torn at first. I don't think she was ever in love with Lancelot, but it mattered to her that he paid attention to her at a time when Arthur didn't back in season one.

I saw that Sarah (the producer_ said it was untrue and it probably is, but I definitely won't say anything.

I'm left wondering when Gwen sees Merlin in comparison to when Arthur is hunting. Especially because it's night when Merlin sees her I think.

Oh wow, if Arthur thinks he's actually aiming at a deer and it's Gwen...Morgana how much lower can you get?

You're getting closer then, that's great. Maybe after a little break from the writing it will come to you. Even watching eps can inspire me so that's another thing to try, and it's enjoyable, lol.

I think that it is better this way in some ways. That its clear that Gwen loves Arthur and has chosen him. It's just that they are not yet aware that Gwen was enchanted and that is why she was snogging him. I do hope that either way that they forgive each other and actually talk about these issues because they haven't really talked about G/L except for 4x09...

I'm torn on that only because I don't want him to forgive her just because it was a spell. And I don't want him to look like a fool for what he originally decided. I think both ways have merit.

And I think it gives magic and Morgana too much power to say she had total control there. Gwen's feelings I don't think were totally false, just deeply from the past and Morgana reawakened them unjustly. So it does make total sense how Arthur reacted in that ep. He was wary the whole time of Lancelot. It showed in his face a lot.

Gwen used to desire Lancelot. I just stay strong with she didn't love him. Her love, her life has always been in Camelot and with Arthur really.

Umm not sure. I kind of want both though. I want him to know that Gwen didn't do it intentionally and that she really does love Arthur and has chosen him.

I do think he needs to come out because that enchantment only made Gwen's past feelings (of desire I believe and not love because Gwen barely knows Lancelot). Either way they do need to work it out and Arthur needs to be reassured that Gwen loves him and has chosen him because her love for him is deeper than anything she felt for Lancelot.
