DIRECTIONS
Body
With US #5 circular needle CO 220 sts.
Work in 4x2 Rib for 8 rounds, with eyelet on 3rd round.
Next round: Change to longer US #6 circular needle and start.
• Dec 2 st every 3 rounds.
• At 176 st, knit 13 rounds.
• Inc 2 st every 2 rounds. Finish with 210 stitches.
Prepare for joining:
• Unknit 8 sts
• Slip 17 st to holder
• Run 17 st onto scrap yarn on other side
Sleeves
With US #5 dpns, CO 52 sts.
Place marker and join to work in the round, being careful not to twist.
Work in 4x2 Rib for 8 rounds, with eyelet on 3rd round.
Next round: Change to US #6 needles.
• Inc 1 st every 5 rounds until 66 st
• K 10 more rounds
Prepare for joining
• Unknit 8 sts
• Slip 17 st onto holder
• Sl all sts not on holder to spare dpns.
Repeat on other arm
Yoke
Join body and sleeves. Continue 1.5"
• Dec every 4th round 3 times (12 rounds)
• Dec every other round until sleeves are gone.
3.5" after joining, start neck shaping (34 st on sleeve b/t raglan shaping).
• Slip center 31 st onto scrap yarn, so 21 st on each side b/t raglan shaping
• Dec 1 st every other row 13 times as follows: slip 1, k2tog, work to last 3, ssk, k1
Continue raglan shaping until sleeves are gone
Pick up stitches around neckline with size 5 needles. Work ribbing 8 rows with eyelets on row 3.
FINISHING
Remove underarm sts from holders and graft sleeve sts to body sts using Kitchener st.
Weave in all ends.
