1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? Go on a real grownup vacation without my parents.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I wanted to do one piece of housework a day and physical activity 3x/week... but I didn't. Since those goals have been going for a few years now, I think I'll go with a nice vague goal of continuing self-improvement.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? About seven co-workers, but no non-work friends.
4. Did anyone close to you die? No.
5. What countries did you visit? Just this one.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? Confidence and focus.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Maybe I should add a better memory to that list.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Surviving my first year of full-time employment with no school or semester changes to break it up.
9. What was your biggest failure? I didn't improve professionally as much as I wanted to.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Recurrent back pain is all.
11. What was the best thing you bought? Yarn for my beautiful blue sweater.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Friends who pushed me out of my rut.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Management. And the government, as always.
14. Where did most of your money go? Going out for coffee and food.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? It takes a lot for me to truly hate someone, so no.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? I really enjoyed OK Go.

30. Did you make any new friends this year? Lots, mostly consisting of quad rugby people and new co-workers. Plus Yvonne.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 26, and went with some co-workers and Libby to happy hour.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Focus.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? Large, wide scarves or cotton skirts.
34. What kept you sane? My friends and my knitting.
