it's been forever
I like to take huge breaks from live journal. It's been a while. But I don't really feel like updating to the max, so let's just say, I'm in Phoenix doing my student teaching, living in a free house in one of the richest neighborhoods in the country (Scottsdale), and I've already been offered a teaching job at the school I'm now for next fall. Sweet.
I miss a lot of things from Ohio, but none of them enough to come home right away. I miss Leland, and Dan, and Brent...and Justin. I miss family, of course. I miss my cats, and the other animals. I miss Adam and Mom the most. I don't really miss my dad. Funny. But it is crazy here. Palm trees everywhere, blue skies practically everyday. Mountains galore. Nuts, right.
I think I'm going to stay here. I figure, why not give it a year? Hmmm I don't know. I will still apply to places back home, just becuase I think it would be dumb not to.
