just venting about work...it's where i spend most of my time anyway...
I survived Black Friday. I've also sort of gotten promoted in that I was told to train for a bookseller "for holidays." "AND we'll see how that goes, if you do well during the holiday craziness and if you keep your BR numbers up, you might actually get promoted," was what I read between the lines of that statement. We have a ridiculous amount of new seasonal temps, and they've been stressing me out...its been hard to remember that I was once exactly like them, asking a million questions and slightly unsure of what I was doing. At least, I don't think that I was THAT bad. I hate crass holiday commericalism, and if I hear another rendition of that grinch song, I'm going to turn into the Grinch. Green fur and all.
