So, on Sunday afternoon, I got rear-ended. I was driving home from the B-Quik with my friend Becki, and we were stopped at the intersection of Boston State Road and Chestnut Ridge Road, all set to make a left turn. I was in he right lane, had my left-hand turn blinky-blink light on, and then BAM! We get this impact from the back of the car that drives us some distance forward. I was able to steer us onto the right hand shoulder, and the car is drivable, but the trunk doesn't shut, the rear doors don't open, and both taillights are detached from the car. Right now my car is at a body shop associated with my dealer--i think that i've talked to about six different insurance people and a seventh left a message on my cell-which i got as my cell's battery was dying. It's all been really overwhelming...i've been really blessed as I'm physically fine and my friend "only" has whiplash. *sigh* But the first rough estimate that i've gotten is about 3000-4000 dollars in damages, and one company says i have to pay a deductable and one company says that I don't! I'm sorry, but don't I pay insurance so that i don't have to pay money to get my car fixed when this happens??!! I can't afford to pay a frickin' deductable. And I don't wanna drive my dad's gas guzzlin' truck for too long...i want my cypress green baby back!!!! *sigh*
