I finally finished scrapping Codi and my trip to Santa Monica in 2006. I'm not a total slacker, I've scrapped it before, but before I Photoshopped everyone else out of the pictures, and before I found this beautiful collection of papers and stuff by K&Company called Sea Glass. I bought a premade 2 page layout -- first time I've ever done that -- and then found out when I got home that my pictures went the opposite way from the mats! So... I shopped and hit eBay and bought up everything I needed to scraplift the layouts -- recreate them for the non-scrappers here.
Please take a look and tell me what you think. I've also uploaded the page I made for my tattoo, and one of an Easter pic of me from 1966. I scanned the old Polaroid and had an 8x10 made of it. I cut the edges and inked them trying to make it look like the original picture. *crosses fingers*
My daughter thinks I've never went shopping and dressed up. Hah! The only things missing in this pic are the matching purse and little white gloves. So there, I had it goin' on! ;)
That green houndstooth pattern was on the back of the duck paper, believe it or not. But... it did help break up all that yellow.
The white spots on the photos aren't there in RL, I have no freaking clue why they're in this picture! The paper already had the "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" on it, I added the "unless it's inked!"
I'm not the best photographer in the world as you can tell...
