This weekend was awesome! I am so glad I got to meet all the friends and family of the bride. They are all really lovely people and at least now I know I can talk to someone when I'm there. Everything went off without a hitch and everyone had such a good time. I met a woman there who was really nice. She's one of those people that I felt an instant connection with and if it wouldn't have been totally rude to just stand in one spot all day and not talk to other people, I am sure we would have talked the afternoon away. After telling each other a little bit about ourselves, she told me that the next time she saw me, she know that I would be really happy. I don't know why, but that really made me feel more optimistic about things. Haha! And she also told me that my aura is pink. Here's what one web site says about that. I guess the pink is a mix between purple and red, so I put those in there too.

Purple: indicates spiritual thoughts. Purple is never a strong point in the Aura. It appears only as temporary "clouds" and "flames", indicating truly spiritual thoughts.

Red: materialistic thoughts, thoughts about the physical body. Predominantly red Aura indicates materialistically oriented person.

Pink (=purple+red): love (in a spiritual sense). To obtain a clean pink, you need to mix the purple (the highest frequency we perceive) with red (the lowest frequency). Pink Aura indicates that the person achieved a perfect balance between spiritual awareness and the material existence. The most advanced people have not only a yellow halo around the head (a permanent strong point in the Aura) but also a large pink Aura extending further away. The pink color in the Aura is quite rare on Earth and appears only as a temporary thought, never as a strong point in the Aura.

I got back into town and met up with a friend at Espresso. We sat and talked for a couple of hours about life, music, relationships, and whatnot. After getting a bit pumped up with some tea, I went to Lucky's and met up with someone else. We got to listen to some pretty sweet jazz standards. Drinking on a Sunday feels somewhat sacrilegious, but somehow I think I'll live with myself. It was a lot of fun, and it's too bad that Monday obligations have to cut into having a good time.

Anywho, it's my last week at Lush. I begin my new job one week from today. I can't wait to execute my first trade. It's not hard to do or anything, but I haven't done it since I got my Series 7 back in September. Now I'll finally get to use all that crap that I studied my ass off for all last summer! When I went in for my second interview at the firm, I found out that I'll only be one of three people who has the Series 31. I have no idea why Morgan Stanley made me get that. No one I know uses futures. Once upon a time it was a good way to invest in commodities, but for the most part, futures presently tend to benefit the broker more so than the client.

I think I've lost half of you so I'm going to end it here. Overall, it was an awesome weekend. Mom and Dad are coming to Boston on Friday! I can't wait!
