(no subject)
This is a completely useless school day. For one, it's a half day, so there are only four 45 minute blocks. One of my classes the teacher cancelled because the block's too short for the lab we're supposed to be doing, one block I have off, and one class is cancelled because the teacher couldn't get to school what with all the snow.
So essentially I have one class today: my easy class the school is making me take that's full of sophomores. I just had the class, actually, and it was pointless. We did this one activity on carbon dating that took me five minutes and then I listened to podfic because I didn't feel like doing anything. (I was listening to the end of Far Along This Road, actually, and the little sophomore sitting next to asked if I was okay because apparently I looked like I'd been punched and then started grinning uncontrollably. I'm very affected by fiction, okay?)
The thing is I can't leave because I have a meeting after school. If I drove home I'd just have to turn around and come back in 15 minutes or so.
So... 30 days meme. Day two.

I suck at favorites. The first couple of days of this meme are going to be hard.
Okay. Movies. Um.
[insert ten minute break in which I think of all the movies I've seen lately and make a list, because that's what I do]
Alright, I picked one:
I watched this movie for the first time at my friend's house last year. It was pretty late when we started it and it's a long movie, so by the time we were done it was around one in the morning (curfew is midnight... oops) and I had to go home. When I got back my mother was all sleepy and confused and asked me why I'd stayed out so late. I told her what movie we'd been watching and she said, "Oh. I love that movie. Okay." and went back to bed, which was pretty nice because normally she's pretty strict about curfew.
The movie itself is amazing. If you haven't seen it, go rent it or something because really. It's good. You want to see it. Also Matt Damon has lots of freckles, which is all I think about now when I see him in Saving Private Ryan or Bourne or any serious movie in which I should not be thinking about freckles.
The soundtrack is pretty good as well; it has five Elliott Smith songs, including Angeles and Between the Bars, both of which I love love love. I think Say Yes is in it too, which, &hearts &hearts &hearts
