Things might be getting better.
A grown woman has a chaperone. That's no good.
My brother is "angry". It's better than "this fucking close".
I've discovered that I'm not a bad rapper (because I'm not completely white?). I can't seem to memorize all of Hamilton, though. It's almost 3 hours and I only discovered the joy and majesty of it a few days ago. So much Fourth Wall breaking, so much creativity (cabinet meetings are rap battles), so much accuracy, and so many feeeeeels!
I came to a sobering realization recently: I'm about halfway through my life. People with epilepsy don't live as long as people with normal brains. I've hit the middle. It's depressing.
Even though my vote won't matter because of where I live, I'm excited for tomorrow. I collect the "I Voted!" stickers. In the Primary, we'll go to Hilary. In the General, we'll go Red. It's the nature of hillbillies and rich people to vote Conservative, and we've only got hillbillies with a few rich people here and there. Don't get me wrong- I'm not bashing my own; I'm proud to be from here, and I'll take issue with anyone who badmouths us. We're just a goofy bunch on the whole.
I'm also renewing my passport tomorrow. We're taking a trip to Montreal in a few months. Apparently I can't renew at the post office. I have to go to the courthouse. Grand. I just *love* paying for parking. I want to do everything in Montreal, see everything, but Mom wants to stay with the kids and Dad wants to get in and out as quickly as possible. Well, I just hope it doesn't suck as badly as Toronto.
