Updated Me Resume
I have to find a new job. I didn’t just think that because I’m miserable with my current job, I wrote it because my job is essentially being eliminated as it is today. My initial reaction was that it was surreal. I just took this job in January, how could it be going away so fast. Anyway, my job is being moved from the buffalo office to a field position in California. I’m not moving to California, that’s just the end of that. What I am going to try and do is get the position that one of my teammates currently has covering the Northeast and if I’m offered a position, request that I can work out of the Buffalo office. I have a meeting next Thursday with the new director to feel him out essentially. I also want him to get to know me a bit more so he possibly is more likely to offer me something. We’ll see how that goes. I feel 50/50 about this and in the long run hopeful that I’ll find something that I’m happy with.
