When dead folks walk, do they know poetry? [for Carol]

Boyle knows better than to wander the halls like he knows the living here do. He tends to wait until well after dark, when most are sleeping or at the very least, in their own claimed spaces before he gives into the urge to once again attempt to make sense of this place. Of his place here. There are a few people he has met that, after the initial shock has worn off, proved to be much better companions than the living had back in Fort Hammer. And Boyle doesn't feel sad or as though he misses Bedland. He worries, yes, about the others he's left behind there. Feels guilty about leaving them like he had, but the dead are resilient and he knows something will happen. Maybe Mann will help? He was a good chak, for all his memory problems.

It's on a night's roaming that the dead man can be found, taking a quiet place in the dark library, with a few maps open on a table in front of him as he tries to pick out which one might hold a clue to this Mansion and the grounds that surround it.

For Carol, like it says, but if you would like a dead man, feel free to let me know!
