New baking buys...
Suppose to pick my in laws up at 9.40am this morning but when we parked the car and headed to the lift...the arrival/departure tv indicated that their flight got delayed and will arrive at 10.45am...we were like !!!!...and checked if we had to pay for parking..hubby wanted to stay but I was like...HELLO...it's nearly an hour...we can save $12 worth of parking...
So with a grace period...we left and headed to DFO just to waste some time...shops opened at 10am so we were tinch early..but it's ok lah...15 min later they opened and I excitedly entered a factory outlet that sold Corelle, Pyrex & Cornningware....as I spotted some Bakers Secrets stuff before it opened...
And after a few rounds..I only bought the following as I cannot find them in other stores that I frequent.....
All from Bakers Secrets:
- Large cooling rack (same price as the small that I have)
- Tart pan 24cm x 2cm (the one I had was 2 cm higher which was meant for quiche/pies - rem my custard tart which had rather thick sides?? so this was the ideal size for tarts)
- Flute tube pan (believe I can use for jelly and sponge cakes)
