Chocolate Souffle - Baking #2 on a Sat

I bought a butter chicken sauce some time back so thought since my in laws were going out for dinner...will cook it for hub & me..but in the end their dinner appt was cancelled so MIL told me to go ahead and cook this....I purposely bought some basmati rice to accompany it...I cooked the sauce with chicken breast, carrots & potato..was alright but ( Read more... )

Thanks dear....but...it rose in the oven but came down straight after I took it out..why? I thought about it and concluded that it's becoz my meringue didnt have as stift peaks as I expected...it was still quite flow-y...would that be why?? And the inside leh..is moist but not gooey.....

Xie xie..whole day baking so tired man..didnt finish clearing up till 10pm....

Oh those "bowls" are ramekins...it acts like a tray for the mixture to rise

p.s i make something similar called chocolate fondant, its a easy and pretty much a all round crowd pleaser because of the naughty gooey centre!

yes i find baking is very therapeutic and its a good outlet for creativity.

Hi sams :)...no worries @ all....yeah after a stressful week @ work I look forward to be baking on the wkend....Im still not able to be creative yet....still an amateur :)...

Thanks for the receipe...will save your link too :)...I will definitely try it....I just watched 1 of the latest Masterchef Australia challenge and 1 of the guys had to make the chocolate fondant...the ozing of the chocolate is awesome..and it needs to....that's e whole purpose...
