The Dark Knight

Having not watched a movie here (in a cinema) since Harry Potter last year, hubby said that it's a must to watch the latest Batman movie in the cinema....and due to the demand in the number of ppl catching the movies during the weekend, we (with Zoe & Eric) bought our tickets on Friday to watch a matinee yesterday at the South Bank cinemas.....anticipating the crowd when queuing up to enter the cinema (majority of Aust cinemas do not have marked sitting)...we began to queue about 3.15pm for our 3.45pm show...there was a group of SG students in the "first position" and we were second...and true enough the queue was very long before we went in but we got a great seat (though the cinema) was really small...like one of those smaller ones in SG's GV...

Lotsa movie trailers as usual and we knew that the movie was going to be 150 min long so were excited....overall it was not as good as I expected but Heath Ledger did a great job in his role but very sad that he's left...it was a bit too long and story line was not as great.....and that Inspector Malone guy from Prison Break had a role of about 5 mins? And HK's Edison had a 3 second role with his back facing...so if you dont reg him...he would just be another asian actor...haha and hubby said that Batman talked too much in this movie.....and there wasnt much of a plot in the movie...and the ending....Batman left & erm...and the Joker was left hanging upside down and caught by the police....then?

But some comic relief was when there were a few "batman inpersonators" and the Joker was dressed as a nurse....anm..haha..and that Harvey guy looked like a "human terminator"..but was disappointed that "Rachel"'s role was quite short but I think she as good a job as Katie Holmes in the previous Batman movie....

After the movie...we all concluded that Batman - The Begining was a much better movie...could tell coz there were console games out for that movie but not this one...
