Sat Date with the Hubby...

Aug 15, 2010 15:16

Since being pregnant..havent had much "alone time" with e hubby...coz usually e Sat will be spent with the in laws...lunch + shopping for Charlee or stuff for her etc...so yesterday they had something on e whole day..suggested to hubby that maybe we can watch a movie..he hasnt been keen coz he knows I cannot sit too long in 1 position now....and well I havent watched a movie since being pregnant....so e last movie I watched was Paranormal Activity with my colleagues & hubby was 2012....

So decided to go for yum cha (yup just e 2 of us)...then we headed to Garden City to get RACQ discounted movie tickets @ $10 each as the BCC cinemas we watch here is $16.50 per ticket for adults..Tues is $9.50...so at least we saved $13...not sure how much movie ticks in SG cost now...e last I rem was $8.50..

So this was the 1st movie we watched together this year....the long awaited... "The Expendables"

Initially tot this movie would be out early this year coz it was quite widely publicised due to its star-studded cast of MEN!....but in e end it opened here on 12/8/10 & hubby didnt even know it was opened & he's a big fan of Sylvestor Stallone & Arnie....

So we walked ard Garden City for about 1.5 hrs then waited to be seated...movie overall was alright...I survived w/o a trip to e toilet coz made sure I drank little by little & e movie was 1hr 40 mins & e seat was upright which was really good for me....just disappointed that Arnie had a scene of max 5 mins? & Bruce Willis about 10 min..wonder if they will get paid for such a small scene...e e funny thing was when Arnie left e scene...Bruce Willis said to Sylvestor Stallone that "He wants to be President"...

Lotsa noise & gun shots & my little Charlee was defintely affected by e noise..so just kept patting my left side (aka e bottom) to calm her down...hehehe...next movie I hope to watch with e hubby (before I pop) would be SALT starring Angelina Jolie...looks awesome...

We finished e day by going to have an early dinner of Shanghainese food...xiao long bao, crispy spring onion pancake, soup & stir fry noodles...

Im very happy :)...cannot wait for our next date...which really dunno when....

us, movie
