(I swear this is Maplestory related.) I haven't enjoyed/regularly watched South Park in years, but last night's season premier struck a chord with me. Basically, the boys were playing World of Warcraft when a rogue player killed them all. Apparently in WoW, you need to duel someone and the other person must accept before you can fight. This high level had found a way to bypass that and was just able to kill everyone in sight. Long story short, Blizzard despairs over the situation as there's "nothing they can do." The boys decide to become high level players too in an attempt to try and defeat the player killer. Blizzard decides to back them.
Meh, it made me think of MapleStory (and a few other MMORPGs I've played.) The point of it was that the creators of the game (think Wizet/GMs) were powerless to stop hackers/those who could act outside of the rules of the game and so they relied on players to dispense their own justice/handle the problem (a la megaphones.)
