GUITAR DAZE
Had another lesson today (obviously)and I think I am progressing. I learned to play the "Theme from Batman". I was thinking to myself... My god!! I can actually play something!!! I am shocked! It was kool to be able to put together 3 chords and make something come out that actually sounded like music. Practice, practice, practice.

TIX
Purchased my ticket to NY. I decided to drop of my application personally to Columbia. I am getting very nervous about the whole process. But I am looking forward to heading down to NY again, I am definitely going to try harder to get into any Talk Show. Or at least get to go to NBC studios. Cross my fingers.

RYORI NIHONGO
Since last class, we made plans to go out for a Japanese dinner with some of the classmates. It was really a good time. Dennis suggested Taku Sushi and it was nice. We had 15 people there. Mike, Wendy, Saori and Etienne, Arisa and bf, Yan, Mark, Susan and BF, Dennis, Daniela, Ken and Cici and me! I was surprised! I expected about 10-12 and I forgot to make reservations...Well actually, I did not think to make reservations because I was not expecting so many people and I did not think the place would be so busy.

We all got there for 6:30 and were there till 9:30. It was a good time. The food was pretty good. I actually missed Japanese food. I had sushi. It was pretty good. I actually missed the taste and the subtle flavours. We all joked and laughed. It was nice to get to know everyone and be out of the learning atmosphere. Everyone was relaxed and happy and fun.

I gave Saori and Arisa-san small Christmas gifts. It was actually neat. I found these two X-Mas bags with Santa and Frosty and was also able to find lollipops of Santa and Frosty. I got some nice chocolates. It just looked really kool with the bags and the candles etc... I wish I could paste a pic on here.

TEA
I guess I really didn't feel like heading home. So we went out for tea after. We just hung around and chatted and talked about this and that and Japan. I guess there are some really KOOL people in that class. I really got to know Ken and CiCi. They are very interesting and just a really nice couple. I hope they sign up for the next classes. It would sorta sad if they don't.
