I decided to go ahead and get my own mobile phone. I was using my sister's who had hers sleeping while she was in Japan. She pays a flat fee for the time that the phone is not being used. It's a good deal. I had to pay $40 per month. With her phone, I had 60 minutes for the month plus weekends and evenings are unlimited. Its a decent deal except....
This new Mobile is unlimited calls for $45 ($58.) total. That means incoming and outgoing. Its not bad. It ain't Japan though! So now I can chat with friends without getting stressed about the cost. Plus if I move to other areas within the Greater City Area, it is still local calling. So when I visit my friends in Barrie (outside Toronto) I can call locally.
I tend to chat during the day with friends. Plus now my parents can call and know they will get me.
Plus I can supposedly use it anywhere in the WORLD!!!!
(Aside: Except when I go to UK and had to use Soofia's spare phone and then still did not ger reception in Brussels or Amsterdam!)
