Weekend
This weekend, TB from my Program in NYC came up to visit. I went with her last summer to see the Jays play the Yankees. It was a good game and a pop up was ht right to us. the fella next to us caught it! It was pretty dramatic!
As weird as it can possibly be, the guy sitting in front of us turns out to be the younger brother of one of my friends from elementary and high school. We are not in touch.
I also invited my friend EK, she had never been to a baseball game and I thought she would like it. we then went for a walk downtown and walked for about 2.5 hours. We then went to the Little Portugal area but ended up having dinner in the Little Italy area. It was good.
But... The best part was after, TB and I went to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was the funniest movie I have seen in a LONG time. It reminded me of There's Something About Mary. I kept on laughing out loud. It was like I was the only one in the theatre. I think I was making a loud embarrassing scene. But I could not stop laughing. It really was that good and I highly recommend it!
TB went home on Sunday. We ended up doing some studying. I really needed to push the paper I am writing.
