Curry In A Hurry
As I said, there are a slew of Indian restaurants around the corner from me and I wanted to try them out. So I invited lowmedhi to come and try some delicious curry.
Her friend Kaori suggested a place called Haandi that was reasonable and good. Instead we went to a really cheap place that was....so so. Let's put it this way, we both ate for $10. Yes that is what you read.... $10. Sadly the food was only ok. I had curry chicken with Saag Paneer and Dhal and lowmedhi had 3 veggies. The paneer was actually good but it was neither spicy or memorable.
There must be about 40 Indian restaurants in the area so I will try them all at one point or the other, perhaps saving the more upscale ones for when friends come unless, I find one where the food is that good and then, like Taidomon, make it my home away from home.
