Too Early

I asked Joe to help me help my sister move this morning. I knew that with things the way they were, my sister really is running on a half tank. Knowing she has things to do but doing things in a not-so-organized manner.

I asked Joe to help because I figured it would be faster and with someone else there, no one would be as stressed out. Vanessa's friend Suzette brought her minivan and Joe's excellent spacial ability allowed us to load pretty much everything she had in the apt. Originally she just wanted help to move the dresser and stuffed chair but I convinced her that we could move pretty much everything in one trip.

Joe managed to arrange everything so that all the boxes sans the clothing fit into the Minivan. It took us about one hour to load everything. It should have been shorter but my sister did not really have the last minute things organized and therefore we were like a couple of construction workers... Standing around discussing world politics, watching paint dry and wondering where each item should go.

As an aside, Joe and I went to Canadian Tire to get a dolly. The thing with having a dolly is it makes moving so simple. We used to own a dolly but I believe it was stolen by 'parties known'. Anyways We found this really kool one for under $60. It was a great deal and it was collapsible.

Overall we managed to do everything in just over 2 hours. It should have gone faster but 2 hours was good, all things considered. So thank to Joe and I will continue to push my sister into making the Coffee-Sour Cream Cake.
