Incidents and Allergies

In Transit
It seems I am destined to always be susceptible to weird train service or related incidents. I got to the train station and just missed the train so I decided to have lunch and the train station restaurant with 30 minutes to go. I ordered my omlette and sat waiting. And waiting. And Waiting. Finally 28 minutes later, I go up and tell her that I need it to go, since my train is coming. She says accusingly, "you should have told me you were waiting for a train.

Lady! I was in the train station. I was in the restaurant next to the station. I came in through the train platform door...and I have to tell you I am waiting for a train????

Oh and by the way... She did not have a knife or a fork...

Lunch With Lindsey
Originally in the morning, I was planning to sleep in and relax. I was/am tired. I am run down. I suddenly developed some allergies to something. I think it may be Soofia...Naah, seriously it might be a body wash and something else.

Anyways, met Lindsey at Paddington Station and saw the little Paddington Bear awwwww. We had a small lunch and were able to chat. Mainly about life the relationships. She has a good head on her shoulder. She has been busy preparing for the martial arts competition and could not hang out Friday night. It has been 3 years since we were both in Japan and even though we did not become friends until much later during the year she was there, we shared many ideals and developed a really deep and great friendship. I miss the dinners at Taidomon with Tomika, Jo Yee, Calbert, Lindsey and then the various times that others would join us. While is was not as sad to say goodbye to her, in hindsight I know I will miss her.

British Museum of History
It is what a museum should look like. Stately. Imposing columns. Stolen treasures from civilizations.

That being said, it really is something. The inner court has been covered and the Great Reading Room where such Kar Marx, Oscar Wilde, Gandhi, Lenin, Kipling, HG Wells among them.

OK.. I gotta run, Im meeting my cousin Vyana and my friend from Japan, Mary.
Will continue this later.

alts, travel
