I'm going to assume they've come with the last couple patches, because I don't know when these changes were made. But, again, Maple Island has been changed (no screens this time unless I go do it all over again with anything but a mage).
- The message passing between Nina and Sen in the training camp is gone completely. The NPCs remain, though, and the other two quests (Roger's Apple and the killing one) are still active.
- As soon as you leave the training camp, the first NPC right there (who tells you everything about advancing and whatnot), has a quiz. The same kind of "What level you need to be to advance and what stat do you need". Very easy, and just enough EXP that I was bumped from just over lv2 to lv3.
- Before I continue, most of the new quests listed here are gone, including any that involved a light bulb.
- The next NPC to the right of Snail Hunting Grounds I gives a new quest: Kill 10 snails, then talk to Maria. Talk to her, and you get EXP and a letter, which you give to Lucas. He then tells you to see Mai for training.
- Mai isn't at A Split Road anymore. She's at the Field East of Amherst. If anything, it's best to at least accept the first part of her training, as she gives you an untradable Razor, which is better than any of the starting weapons. If you want to do them, the order is 5 Stumps 3 branches, 5 Red Snails, 3 Slimes 1 Liquid, and 2 Pigs. After all that, you return to Lucas. I don't know what happens exactly after this, but talking to him again gets you another letter and 500 EXP, which would have bumped me to lv9, and I was training a mage at the time. I'll assume here that it was a letter for a free ride to Victoria, because that's all I could think it would be. Also, you can talk to the sailor (I forget his name) on a new map that now appears between A Split Road and Amherst (it used to be just straight to Amherst). He wants you to kill 1 Orange Mushroom and bring back one Orange Mushroom cap. No idea on the reward, I skipped that one too.
- Yoona seems to have mastered the Clone jutsu. She appears not only in Southperry, but also at Field West of Amherst. The CS quest is still available (so you can still get a Stolen Fence), but she also wants you to kill 10 Blue Snails and 10 Shrooms, for EXP.
- I'm pretty sure the WG quest is gone, because I didn't get it at all. Also, there's no quest for a hat that I know of, except for A New Life (I think), so you'll probably leave Maple Island with a naked head.
- Spawn changes: A Split Road is only Blue Snails and Shrooms now. Field West of Amherst is also mostly those two, with Stumps at the top (convenient for Yoona's quest). The maps east of Amherst also seem to be missing monsters, Orange Mushrooms in particular. The new map west of Amherst has Stumps, Red Snails, and Slimes that I could see.
- One other note: Stumps have had their HP reduced from 65 to 40. I noticed this when I managed to hit some for 39, and the HP bar was black, and then 40 damage killed them in one hit. I think (though I can't confirm) that Orange Mushrooms and Pigs have also experienced an HP cut.
- Rain's quiz and Pio's chair quests remain the same, and are probably the only ones that do.
