Snow!
So we had our first winter storm pass through here yesterday. It really wasn't much of anything here were I was... enough to cause the inconvenience during morning traffic but that is really it. It was actually worse this morning with the frozen roads.
Anyway its doing lake effect snow here right now. I'm actually quite fond of lake effect snow because it makes me feel like I am living in a giant snow globe. The way it floats around and almost hangs in the air at times. Silly I know but every time I see it that is what goes through my mind.
Anyway I'm here alone in between the two shifts I am going to work for the day and enjoying the peace and quiet. I think I will actually do some writing. Feeling festive with the snow. :) I've put Nowhere to Run on the back burner at the moment in order to write my 2009 Holiday Song Challenge story. Its funny how you can struggle and struggle with writing and then all of the sudden it is like a light bulb going off in your head. Like so many other times I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep and it hit me. I wrote most of it the next day and I just have to finish up the last part. Once that is done I'll head back to the next chapter of Nowhere to Run.
