1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
-Learn to drive

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes, I think I managed to stick to it for a fair bit. It was a pretty personal thing. Most probably I'll have the same resolution next year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
no.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thank God, no.

5. What countries did you visit?

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
- a new car
- more money
- Six!!!

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
17 November. It was my college prom. I'll remember it because of the mediocre food, lousy performers and my friends dressed in prom dresses.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
-Publishing my stories in the church newsletter.

-Getting my driving license.

-Getting my picture in the newsaper (ok, it happens to other people most of the time, but to me it was a pretty big deal!)

-An offer to get my original stories and poems published (nothing's official yet, but I'm keepung my fingers crossed)

9. What was your biggest failure?
-SAM math. Enough said.

-failing my driving exam because I refused to bribe the examiner.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
During mid term break I was sick for a week...

11. What was the best thing you bought?
All the books, manga, anime VCD and DVD, anime merchandise that i bought this year.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Ai-chan's surprisingly OK UPSR results. I thought she was going to flunk the exam and she actually managed to get an A for science!

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
-The attitude of the corrupt officials in the country

-Those teacher who write you off as a failure because you're in the humanities stream and not studying bio, chem and physics as all the supposedly 'smart' people do. Come on, I endured all that for 2 years!

14. Where did most of your money go?
To my collection of fantasy books, manga, anime....

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
-Phanthom of the Opera showing in the Cinema! It's opening tommorrow!

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. happier or sadder?
Happier. Because I didn't feel so pressured to perform well in my studies. Maybe also because I switched from the science stream to humanities. And also because I've learnt to look on the bright side of life.

II. thinner or fatter?
Thinner. Do not underestimate the metabolism of a college student! (and also because I had to climb all those stairs at Taylors....)
III. richer or poorer?
poorer.... need to get a job soon....

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
-study
-writing fanfiction
-trying to make more friends at college
-hung out with old friends
-exercise

-getting angry at certain people

With friends and family! (and hopefully I get to hang out with Six for a bit....)

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I wouldn't say hate. More of like, very strong dislike towards people who just take me for granted. And the realization that they were not really interested in who I was.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
That I can actually write a slow RnB song and not go Pop all the way

Broadband connection!!!

I was at Penang, celebrating my birthday at my grandparent's place because it was the first day of chinese new year. And my uncle making me drink Baileys because he said that I was officially an adult. I turned 18 (Getting old la!)

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If a certain someone would've noticed me

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
I started moving towards the preppy, casual look (collared shirts, pleated skirt, boots combo) but moved back to jeans and stuff...

34. What kept you sane?

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
too many to list down.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
NS. I thought it was stupid.

37. Who did you miss?
Some of the old School Gang. We couldn't keep in contact as frequently as I'd hoped.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
All my course mates! All the people on ff.net! All the people on LJ!

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you earned in 2004.
People change, sometimes you can't stop that from hapenning. The only thing you can do is to just move on with your life. Just keep looking forward and not behind.
