Gundam 00 S2 ep 15 + new ED Rant

D'awwwwwwww <33

So, New Ending

  • Wrecks of Gundams, kinda beautiful but sad at the same time. Maybe it signifies that conflict is over and they're no longer needed. The OO Gundam at the end reminds me of Castle in the Sky, or that scene in Macross Frontier.
  • Cherudim under the maple tree, it's full of holes, and rather dismembered, and the red leaves look kinda like blood... it's a bit more... gruesome, than the other ones, which are just rusted and not destroyed
  • LOVE the movement continuation of the scenes from Prototype. The woman under the sheets seem to be confirmed to be Anew unless it's actually Revive! XD
  • Looks like Saji managed to pull Louise to him/his side; Tieria's turning to shoot at the Innovators (after shooting the mirror which I guess symbolizes him denouncing his own image/identity as Innovator, and getting 7 years of bad luck); Lyle chucking away the gun and pounced on went towards her, probably accepting Anew after he finds out about her being a spy or something (Anew is nekkid under there I think); Alle x Marie pull closer together, not sure what it symbolizes... them living peacefully?
  • The discarded clothes/uniforms, probably signify them not having to fight anymore, since most look rather peaceful, cept Tieria's
  • Not only is Tieria's jacket and glasses floating alone, it kinda looks like his jacket is falling down (whereas Saji's and Louise's are holding hands, Lyle and Anew's are lying peacefully, and Alle and Soma's are floating up).. it looks bad for our T-chan...
  • Every other Meister has a female counterpart (not necessarily pairing in that way, but just a counterpart): Setsuna-Marina, Neil-Feldt, Alle-Marie (Halle-Soma XD), Lyle-Anew; but none for Tieria...
  • Set-chan smiling at the end is soooo adorable! Need to have him on my wallpaper!!!
  • Song is good on its own, but a bit too upbeat/cheerful at first for the images, but after listening to it a few times, the tune is actually nostalgic in some parts, although I still think the tempo is too quick for the images, and sounds too.. jpop-ish =S

Now for the ep itself.

  • We start off with Set-chan battling SparkAli, it seems that he heard the singing as well...
  • Set-chan's injured, and he makes temporary stop at Kataron base. Everyone just stares at him (and not helping him), until Marina, who's on laundry duty, rushes towards him as he collapses.
  • He has a dream where his current self attempts to stop his past self from killing his parents by taking away the gun. But the ghost of Christmas Lockon Past shows up and says that he needs to move on, can't stay in the past like him. And Set-chan found his little self shot his parents anyway ;__; Poor Set-chan discovers that he can't change the past, not even with the magical abilities of the sparkly GN Particles.
  • This tells us just how much he is affected by what he did in the past. He's so focused on that, that he can't move on, much like how Lockon's stuck in the past. Marina's words had affect on him, but he still can't stop fighting, because fighting is all he knows, and it's the only way he knows how to live.
  • When he wakes up, Marina and him have a heart-to-heart talk, where she tells him about her past, how she loved music and wanted to do it for a living, but because of her lineage, became the princess instead. This explains how she can play the organ so well, and can write music. Lolz, so Marina could've become a pop star XD Phase 3 of Lacus transformation. Now all she needs is some Haros (which Setsuna can steal for her), and lead Kataron in a crusade for peace! Although I don't think she has the abilities to give Setsuna a new suit..
  • The kids see them and tell other Kataron members, "Labu-labu dakara!" lol, awesome kids, they remind me of those 3 kids in MSG...
  • Hercules talks to Sergei about the Coup d'eta, he didn't expect Sergei to join, since Sergei follows the rules and probably can't go against it. Apparently the death of his wife had something to do with him unable to break the rules, which is probably why Andrei's on such bad terms with him. Looking forward to see how this will play out, I expect Sergeit to bend the rules and do Heroic Sacrifice for Andrei or Soma's sake...
  • Lyle is getting disturbed at how A-Laws keeps on finding them. Looking forward to him finding out it's Anew's fault, and tries to kill her, but ultimately could not resist the Innovator body decides not to, as per the ending.
  • Andrei appears, and is ignored by Cold Louise. Patrick shows up and tries to offer him advice about women. LOL Patrick <33 Later, Patrick complains that he doesn't get to pilot MS, but Kati assures him. D'awwww. Their plane thing gets shot, and for a moment I thought it was Patrick's driving skillz fault XD
  • Saji and Mileina rush to finish fixing Seravee, and they fall asleep in the hanger. Tieria comes and puts a blanket on Mileina. D'awwwwww Mommy T-chan!! It's amazing how far his character has come, and how human he's becoming.
  • Hilling is trigger-happy. She looks a bit like a man sometimes though XD She teases Divine (Devine) about Bring, which Devine said he doesn't care. Apparently it's "Devine", not "Divine".. too bad, 'cause his last name is Nova. It'd be awesome 'cause Divine + Nova = Diva XD
  • Alle and T-chan got caught in some net thingy. I thought the electricity is gonna wake up Halle.. too bad...
  • HARO!!! HE HAS LINES THIS EP! Still as adorable as ever =D
  • Someone mentioned that they need to use the Gun Archer, and Marie volunteered, and went w/o Sumeragi's permission. She was seen suiting up and in the hanger. Yay! Return of Pilot Soma, to the rescue!! But we don't get to see it, 'cause A-Laws retreated due to the Coup D'eta happening.
  • Set-chan tries to get back to CB, but is blocked by Misutah Bushido and his shiny new Samurai Flag, which went into.. TRANS-AM!! Uh oh, look out Set-chan! Both of them have gotten a weapon upgrade since the last time they met, we'll see the battle next week (that probably lasts like 2 mins XD). Seems that Eiffman already knew the secret of Trans-Am, which is probably why he was killed (and that he discovered Aeolia's true plan).
  • Boy, Set-chan sure gets distracted a lot, first by Ali (and Ribbonz), now by Bushido. Will he ever make it back to the Ptolomy?? Find out next week!
