holy hell. a good vacation is exactly what i needed. as if there was any doubt before, being in a city that is actually an extremely overpopulated island definitely solidified my identity as a city guy. in the last two weeks i have:
- made my aunt cry
- travelled over the international date line TWICE!
- spent my actual birthday 30,000 feet above the earth for the second year in a row (only this time it was accommpanied by angelina jolie on the big screen...SWEEEEET)
- played copious amounts of mahjong
- won 94.70HKD from my mom in mahjong
- realized my privilege and responsibility as a person
within the last 24 hours i have:
- had the best 10 minutes of my life
- been as poetic as i could under pressure
- finally took a risk in my damn life!
