Blame the cover!

It was the cover's fault. Upon setting eyes on it, I realized that I have to have my own copy. It was a sin not to.

I just finished reading Hush, Hush, and I loved everything about it. I planned to finish it tomorrow night, while waiting in the airport for my aunt, but the temptation earlier was too strong to resist, and I ended up caving in. Well, now I'm satisfied, but after learning that there's going to be sequel coming out next year, a number of possibilities about the progression of the main characters' relationship has crossed my mind.

I strongly recommend it; and by the way, it''s nowhere near Twilight. I'm over that now, mwahaha. You're gonna love the main guy, Patch! He's sexy, he's dangerous, and he's way too mysterious. While his bad-boy character's a cliche, Fitzpatrick's awesome writing skills add to him more depth. Reading about him felt sooo good. He's the best guy that fits the "tall, dark, and handsome" description! And, he smiles. A lot.   The main girl, Nora, was likeable was well. I found that she was so much better than Bella (especially in terms of character progression, and handling guys like Patch). For one, she's smarter. And she doesn't think of Patch as someone she can't live without.

Moving on, I'm terribly sorry (especially to myself) that I haven't updated in weeks. Like a friend said before, it's understandable that even if you have those exciting events to share, you may not be in the mood to write. And it was exactly that. I feel bad for all the things I missed. I feel even worse because I feel that it's difficult to fully recount things that happened so long ago. So. To make things easier, and just so I won't forget:

Five Things That I Should Have Blogged About Before: (in no particular order)

1. Enjoying French class immensely. My teacher is so cool. And nice. She reminds me a lot of my friend, Sarah--they're eerily similar! From the way they're fond of putting little make-up and to the way they talk. :O
2. Making a Japanese friend in PE (Basketball). Chihori-chan, as I like to call her, is one of the best in our class. She's only a little taller than me, but it surprised me to see her shooting for 3 points. Talk about arm strength! She's a junior exchange student from the Tokyo University for Foreign Studies, and she can speak our language well. It felt a bit odd talking to a Japanese in Filipino!
3. Acing the Math exam. Self-explanatory.
4. Going gaga over Vampire Knight! After finishing the first season in a night (haha), I bought the second season the next day! If I fell in love with Yuuki, Kaname, and Zero in the first season, I almost died for them in the second! I hyperventilated with each episode, unbelieving at each sexual innuendo. If possible, Kaname became even more gorgeous♥, making me torn over the two pairings!!! WHY?! WHY MUST ZERO AND KANAME BE INHUMANELY BEAUTIFUL? ;_;
5. Exam on second day back! I have an social science exam waiting for me on the sixth. Again, WHY??? I still haven't studied, and probably won't study until the last few days of vacation. T_T

There! Well, it's 3 days before Christmas here, but I'm wishing everyone now a joyful Christmas! Joyeux Noël tout le monde!
