People Always Leave (So Look for the One That Comes Back), because it fit perfectly with the image.
Inoo wakes up from the long drive with Nakajima's bright smile and the breaking of the dawn on his face. He returns the smile with a sleepy smile of his own and he pushes Nakajima's face away from his, "good morning," he whispers and Nakajima brings his camera up and takes a shot. Inoo rolls his eyes and they laugh at the Polaroid picture that comes up.
They walk towards the beach, the sun slowly shedding light on everything and the crystal blue waters tantalize their eyes. Nakajima puts everything in his hands down to run to the sea and he crashes into the waves. He comes up and pulls Inoo in and they fight against the waves together. Inoo struggles but Nakajima doesn't let go for even a second and they laugh and laugh and laugh when they come up from the beach.
At noon, they have already changed clothes and set up camp. Inoo sits in the shade of an umbrella with his sketchpad on his lap and Nakajima strays from the site and climbs, searches and takes photos. After he's collected a number of photos, he goes back to Inoo and shows him the photographs and he watches as Inoo looks at them carefully from the rough sketches of beach houses and huts on his lap, and after Inoo's seen all of the things he's laid out, Nakajima goes on another round of searching.
After Nakajima has explored every nook he could find, he goes back to Inoo and curls up beside the other boy. Nakajima falls asleep with Inoo's fond smile as the burning image at the back of his eyes. And when he wakes up, it has gotten dark and Inoo has packed everything save the towel he is lying on. He reaches out and takes Inoo's hand and links their fingers together.
"How's the research?" he asks playfully and Inoo looks down at him, "perfect." Nakajima lowers his eyes as he feels his cheeks burning. He gives Inoo's hand a soft kiss before standing up and running quickly opposite of where Inoo is, he looks back and at the perfect distance he stops and takes a quick shot of Inoo and the sunset.
After the sun had set, Inoo and Nakajima go back to the car and they go home.
Inoo finds the last photo hanging on Nakajima's photo wall labeled, "perfect."
