this started as a fic exchange with wooden_buttons (whom i absolutely adore. :) [who wouldn't? she's adorable, sweet and cute but still manages to be mature about most things.) as spurred on by this post. but, as people know, i am completely OC and i was super unhappy with just one quote.
so i decided to gather sixteen quotes for this fic challenge which represents the age rai's going to be in... a few more months. :) (and in a roundabout way, represents the age yamada and yuuto are now)
this has been my longest work to date as it comprises 5,007 words. but, the problem is that it's comprised of drabbles. so maybe i didn't improve there. :) hehe.
i want to list down all of the quotes i used as well. :) i didnt want to include it in the fic because that would have ruined the effect of... i dont know. :) but it would have ruined something aesthetically, which is why i'm making this separate post. :) plus, if i listed down the quotes, i would have in turn spoiled the entire story. because i'm not imaginative. :) hahaha!
1. if one dream should break and fall into a thousand pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again.
2. life is not about the people who act true to your face, it's about the people who remain true behind your back.
3. no matter how crazy and funny the scenes around you, it is useless without somebody who you want to laugh with.
4. wait till the rain falls cause the weather defines the people who go and get their umbrellas and those who stay with you under the rain.
5. i can always take care of myself, but still, i want to meet the person who can prove to me i can't.
6. the person who's on your mind the moment you open your eyes after a long sleep is the reason for your happiness or your pain.
7. if you're not jealous, then you don't love the person, if you don't love the person, you're not supposed to be jealous.
8. there are only two reasons why we can't focus on something: one, if it means nothing or two if it means everything.
9. the sweetest thing is to know you're his priority and not just a choice.
10. nothing can make up the absence of someone we love and it would be wrong to find a substitute.
11. you can erase someone from your mind, getting them out of your heart is another story.
12. if people only knew they wouldn't have a second chance, they'll be extra careful so nothing will be left broken.
13. it’s amazing how quickly we get used to things, but how slowly we become un-used to them.

16. sunsets are beautiful when you watch them with somene you love and yet they are the saddest scenery created by God when you watch it alone
