poetry from the heart

Sweet melodies

Stumbling
Sleep thick in ones eye lids
Has she finally fallen asleep we ask
Surrounded in a pink blanket
The child has succomed to slumber
With the sweet melodies filling thoughts

I once had a nightmare

Once upon a time
I was drowning
Seeing the world filter away from my sight
Clawing at the water for support
Feeling the water rush past my head
The air out of my lung
So mystified by how much I could lose
Eye lids flickering
darkness coming
I could smell honey and milk
As the water took me from the world above to the world below

passing the time, poetry, worry
